Hotel was well-maintained and little, I truly enjoyed the stay.

Actually, the room was recently refurbished and large, it also had a shower, hairdryers, and bath sheets. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and there was a spacious bathroom.

Check in was quick, hotel was little, locations was amazing on the banks of the river. The employees were absolutely friendly and amicable all the time. We stayed in the a double room equipped with balcony, a fireplace plus a spectacular view. Appreciated the comfortable decor.

The hotel was what we loved during trip. The employees were very amiable and outstandingly accommodating.

I was surprised with the family room. It had things I needed, including an iron and closet space.

It had very poor beds, maybe it was bad luck.

I was traveling with my boyfriend and overall it was comfortable and exceptional hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed how the a double room was arranged when I arrived. Also, location was marvellous, really close to Fossil Glass. Had an excellent stay here during my trip.

Convenient Location and Amenities

The spot was in a good area with a market and small supermarkets close by. The room was quite spacious and had all the essentials you need, like a shower, a hairdryer, and big bath towels. 🛁

We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was gorgeous and fairly clean, with particularly good and amazing location within walking distance of everything. Outstandingly accommodating and efficient staff who were always there to help.

The Shire Woodstock is in a great location, right next to the Ottauquechee river and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the covered bridge. There are plenty of food options nearby, making it very convenient for guests.

Little hotel, staff were excellent and the location was favourable on the banks of the river. We booked a double room with a spectacular view, great views and a huge window.

The Shire Woodstock is a comfortable place to stay just 1 mile from Marsh-Billings. The room I had was huge with pleasant views of the hills and its own balcony. The iron and closet space were convenient. The bathrooms were clean. It was a very comfortable way to end my trip.

The hotel is located in a fantastic spot, right in the heart of the main drag, allowing you to walk to everything. The price we paid was more than fair, offering great value for money. The rooms are bright and cozy, with a nice New England decor and fresh white bed linens. The basic amenities provided, such as the mini fridge, wall mounted TV, and sitting chairs, added to the comfort of our stay. Additionally, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent.

While our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a few minor issues that could be improved upon. The hotel's Wi-Fi seemed to have dead spots and the cell phone reception was spotty.
